The Garden

The garden is growing and the sun poked out of the clouds for a bit so I figured I would work on my photography skills. I need to practice with the camera to keep up with Sonja.

Here are some flowers we planted last year. Don't quote me but I think they are Pansies; I've never been much of the flower type. I know some flowers: marigolds, butter cups and dandelions.
I think we are going to have a couple strawberries, after all we have about 74 plants (Thanks Grandpa).

Sonja planted our peas a couple weeks ago and I put the poles up the other night after the kids went to bed. I need to put up the chicken wire still. It started raining pretty hard so I haven't gotten a chance yet.
And the currents! Check them out! I only took pictures of one of the plants because the other one doesn't have as many berries.
I didn't take any pictures of the rhubarb because, well, it's kinda ugly. It is growing pretty good though. I planted all the pieces even though some of them weren't sprouting and one of them just popped up through the dirt.

Hoyt Farms will be open for u-pick berries during the harvest season. Berries will be reasonably priced at $100.00 per pound. Got to pay for all the dirt they are planted in somehow!

Peace out,

Jake

Jake,
Those are great pictures!! We hope you get lots and lots of berries!

I posted the cabin pictures before I read your post. How can I get that pansy picture back to the top?

It's magic. Sonja told me I could go edit the post and change the date and time so I changed it to after yours.
